Commercial and Residential railings, gates, fencing, artwork, fabrication, repair, and more
At Custom Welding, we use solid materials in our wrought-iron railings, providing a level of quality and longevity not available from rails made with tubing. Our use of industrial finishes and high quality anchoring ensures a long-lasting and low maintenance result.
While custom railings are our most popular product, we offer a full range of metalworking services. Whether it's welding and fabrication, plasma cutting, hand forging, or metal repairs, we are prepared to tackle any project, large or small.
Our welding services include stick, TiG, MiG, flux core, or brazing to accomplish most any job that comes our way. Steel, Stainless, Cast Iron or Aluminum - we do it all.
Some of the more common projects we work on include:
We also have a large stock of Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum on hand that we can cut to the length you need. If we don't have it on-hand we can get it in just a few days.
We offer a range of finishes to fit any budget or decor. We can color match your existing interior or exterior color when provided with a sample or the brand and color code of the paint to be matched. Color matching requires either our Upgraded Paint or Powder Coat finishes.
Standard PaintWe use Sherwin Williams DTM Gloss paint, which provides a rust resistant finish without requiring a primer. We apply two coats prior to installation, and touch up on site once it is installed.Upgraded PaintWe start with Sherwin Williams DTM Bonding Primer, then follow with two coats of of their DTM Gloss paint. This produces a low-maintenance finish that extends the life of the work.
Note: This is the base option for all custom colors or color matched work.
Powder CoatingPowder Coating produces a hard, durable finish that requires little to no maintenance. Powder Coating typically adds several weeks to the project, as the rails need to be fully fit and sized on-site, then sent to the powder coater before final installation.
